Poets from our 2022 European Camarade

Brand new performative and literary collaborations, made for the night. The Camarade is a dynamic event model, asking pairs of poets, writers, artists and other creative practises to come together and explore the potential of collective innovation and playful experiment.

Our partner for this event, The European Poetry Festival, celebrates collaboration, performance and our shared continental literary tradition of experimentation. It is the biggest consistent celebration of European poets ever to take place in the UK and comes to Kingston once again to pair visiting or locally based poets with students or staff of Kingston University.

Over a dozen poets in pairs will present brand new live works made for the night in a communal, playful, dynamic night of literature. Featuring new collaborations by

  • Fabian Faltin and Steven J Fowler

  • Stathis Dimitriadis and poet to be announced

  • Alban Low and Natalie Low

  • Julia Rose Lewis and Harry Man

  • Regina Avendano and Hannah Kaip

  • Agnese Graudina and Petra Pálkovácsová

In addition the evening will be opened with three solo readings to mark the launch of three new publications by:

  • Chris McCabe

  • Endre Ruset

  • Danica Ignacio
