European Poetry festival at Kingston University!
A Flanders Poetry Celebration : May Thursday 4th 2023
Our annual partnership with the European Poetry Festival sees poets from a European nation visit Kingston, lead a workshop with students, then perform new collaborative poems and performances with local and UK based poets. These highlight performances anchor a night of unique and engaging collaborative literary exploration which also involves pairs of Kingston University students and alumni.
This event was an exceptionally friendly, playful and memorable event, full of works made just for this night in the RIBA award winning Town House at Kingston University. Visiting poets Dominique de Groen, Lotte Dodion and Xavier Roelens showcased the brilliant innovation so indicative of a new wave of Flemish writers exploring the possibilities of modern poetry.
