New performances and readings from Lucy Furlong, SJ Fowler, Patrick Cosgrove, Nina Fidry, Chris Kerr and Bob Bright.
Sampson Low has been publishing for more than 200 years and in the last half-decade they, led by editor and artist Alban Low, have been key in making Writers Kingston, and the literary community of the whole Kingston area, far more galvanised, enthused and exciting. The remarkable selflessness and generosity of the press has helped poets and authors realise and develop their work, firmly rooted in the local literary scene and contextualised by a truly amazing history which elevates all those associated with Sampson Low. This event celebrates the press, the work of Alban Low, and the myriad writers featured on the SLL list. www.sampsonlow.co

When the young boy grew up he worked for Longmans the publisher before re-establishing his father’s family name again in London’s Lambs Conduit Street together with a handsome bookshop and library…. https://sampsonlow.co/about/
